Welcome!
Please, do not expect a captivating introduction. I was never good at that. I would rather my work spoke for me. I hope you will allow that.
I am passionate about what I do and what I believe in. Down my path is an attempt to collate examples of my work, give voice to my passions and preserve some of the precious memories.
My work: I am a Teacher of the Deaf working in a secondary mainstream school with 20+ deaf students. The need to make a difference in their learning gets me out of bed every morning. The daily challenges and frustrations make every day unique and fascinating. Constant learning and evaluating.
Let me introduce you to some of my students, my work, my fascinations.
My passions: kayaking, kayaking, kayaking!!! For years it used to fill almost every hour of my time out of work. Sadly, painful events pulled me away from it. For the last 5 years I have been trying to turn my passion for kayaking into something positive. I am sure Chris Rendu would want that. My trip to the Guatemalan orphanage came out of this search for something meaningful. I am hoping for this experience to bring lots of goodness in the years to come.
Walk down my path with me...
